We support people to live meaningful, purposeful lives. We consider recovery to be when our participants reach this stage – with, or without, ongoing symptoms.
Our team provide longer-term psychosocial recovery coaching, support coordination and counselling to help and strengthen participants ability to achieve lasting recovery.
Helping our participants to reach their goals, by providing them with tools, insights, and support.
Tailored recovery plans give our participants a clear, actionable and step-by-step plan based on their individual situation and circumstances.
Our recovery coaches are qualified professionals, who truly understand psychosocial disability and mental health. Participants also have the option of choosing support from a member of our team with lived experience or of a particular gender.
Offering both in-person and online services, our team deliver services in a way that best supports our participants recovery journey. This dynamic and flexible service provision allows our team to reach participants is regional and remote areas.
CHIME
Our approach to recovery, ‘CHIME’ focusses on the five things that all people need in their lives, no matter who they are, how old they are or where they’re from.
- Connectedness - Good relationships and being connected to other people.
- Hope and Optimism - Recovery is possible and relationships that support this.
- Identity - A positive sense of self and identity and overcoming stigma.
- Meaning - Living a meaningful and purposeful life, as defined by the person (not others).
- Empowerment - Control over life, focusing on strengths, and taking personal responsibility.
